Okay, so it's been a little over a year since I watched any of the Mighty Ducks movies. With that said, there is a lot of stuff that does not happen in the first movie that one would probably assume did happen. Such as the knucklepuck and "Ducks fly together". D2: The Mighty Ducks is probably the movie to watch if you want a more nostalgic trip down hockey movie lane. IN any event, this movie is definitely still a classic.
And did anyone else catch that Fulton Reed could be considered the original Shea Weber? The way the players duck out of the way when he shoots the puck and then seeing the puck go straight through the net made me laugh. How much more similar could that be to the way we assume players feel about Weber's slap shot on the ice? Also in this clip, former Minnesota North Stars' Basil McRae and a YOUNG Mike Modano.
If anyone else watched this yesterday and would like to discuss/dissect, leave it in the comments. Quack, quack, quack!
Look for this week's selection on Friday.

"I heard you were a farmer" is possibly my favorite line in movie history.
