Your Morning Jed: Game Day Playlist

There is a very good reason I did not post a recap of Tuesday night's game.  As your mother always told you when you were little (and maybe even now that you're older): "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."  So, I kept my mouth shut.  Putting that game in the past (where it belongs), it is time to look forward to the game tonight against Phoenix.

What better way to get me in the mood for a game than by listening to a game day playlist.  I tried to recollect the songs used in warm ups and pre-game activities but as you can see, I didn't get very far.  Five songs on repeat all day to get you hyped up for a game isn't much, but it's a start.  Does anyone else out there have a game day playlist they listen to before home games to get pumped up?  If so, what does it include?  I'm open to adding songs to the meager mix I have so feel free to leave suggestions in the comments.

**UPDATE** I'm adding songs as you guys suggest them.  Keep 'em coming!

Happy Thursday!

  1. They never play it during warm-ups but I always get pumped when I hear two songs: Galvanize by Chemical Brothers and Party Hard by Andrew WK.

  6. I still enjoy Republica's "Ready To Go" to pump me up for a game. I like Saliva's "Ladies & Gentleman" that they still play during warm-ups.

  8. No list is complete without "Guerilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine. That song has a part 3/4th or so into it that if it doesn't get you pumped for a contest of some sort you have no pulse.
