In a word: frustration, agitation and irritation.
Okay, so maybe that was three words but if you can't tell, I'm kind of pissed. And judging by his comments (or lack thereof) post-game, so is Coach Trotz as well as the entire team, I'm sure. Anyway, as the title of this post clearly states, I need a moment to process it all. The recap will be up at some point tomorrow. Probably in the evening, since I can't access Blogger from work.
I have much to say now but I'll probably be a little calmer (and nicer) if I wait until tomorrow. So until tomorrow...
P.S. Burrows can kiss it.

In the post-game press conference, a couple of the Vancouver writers were trying to bait Trotz into going off.
ReplyDeleteQ: "What do you think of Alex Burrows as a player?"
A: "Next question..."
Q: "Did the Canucks play dirty?"
A: "What do you think?"
The Preds were justifiably pissed, but I'm left wondering why Belak didn't play a larger role early in the 3rd. That's why he's here, right?
I was listening to the post-game show and couldn't believe someone was asking Trotz such pointed, specific questions. I didn't know they were from the Vancouver writers. That makes so much more sense now.
ReplyDeleteBelak's lacking presence in the third was a mystery to me as well. I thought for sure Trotz was going to let him at a few of the Canucks.
